More Books and Movies for Our Rural Library

Please donate today to help the Round Valley Public Library expand and diversify its collection and programs. The goal of the Friends of the Round Valley Public Library (FRVPL) is to raise $10,000 dedicated solely to library resources by the end of the year.
So much is available to our community at the library. We hope you will take an opportunity to visit. Check out books, DVDs, games and more from the library’s extensive collection. Take the kids to outdoor storytime. Go online at our up-to-date computer center. Bring home seeds and gardening information from the Seed Library. Enjoy our educational displays. Participate in a wide variety of online and in-person activities for children and adults. Just read, study, or visit in a quiet environment.
The FRVPL each year attempts to provide $12,000, in addition to funds provided by the Mendocino County Library, to purchase new resources and upgrade our library's collection and programs. And that's over and above our support for the facilities and other activities at the Round Valley Library Commons, which includes a community room, a community kitchen, a large covered patio, and an outdoor landscaped space available to the Farmers Market and other activities. With an unpredictable pandemic in our midst, it has been difficult to organize events for fundraising as in the past, like dances, dinners, pancake breakfasts, and art shows.
Many of you have supported the FRVPL over the last decade, with donations small and large, as well as liberal contributions of labor and time. Together we have created a great library, arguably one of the best small town libraries around! In these unusual times, we ask for your contribution once again. You can donate online at this GoFundMe site or at www.frvpl.org. Or you can send a check or money order to FRVPL, PO Box 620, Covelo, CA 95428. Or just drop off your donation at the library. All funds raised between now and the end of the year, through this and other campaigns, will be dedicated to building our library's resources. Thank you!
