On October 6, 2022, our lives were shattered. My wife, Ashley Ridge (30) was murdered in broad daylight in front of two of our daugthers - Harper and Lola. This beautiful, amazing, caring and loving woman was taken too soon and her five daughers, Charlie (8), Judith (6), Rosalee (5), Harper (3), and Loretta (3) will all grow up without their mom by their side. She won't be there to do their hair, teach them arts and crafts, take them to park, or see all their firsts - first day of school, first time making the team, earning their patches as Brownies and Girl Scouts and her first time being a troop leader. She won't be here to teach them how to become young ladies. She was also taken away from me, her loving husband who must now raise her beautiful girls alone, on a single income. We have had many wonderful people reach out wanting to help support these awesome girls with the future they have ahead of them. This GoFundMe page can help them do that.

Ashley was known for her amazing arts and crafts. There was nothing she couldn't make with her Cricuit. She loved baking and had a real sweet tooth. One of our favorite things we started doing together was cooking. We could make anyting outa nothing. It was tasty as long as it was homecooked. And the girls loved it. She was the type of person that would give the last $5 in her pocket for someone to be able to eat, watch your kids so you could look for a job or go shopping, or give you a place to lay your head down at night. She loved and cared for everyone.

Now her 5 girls will not be able to see how great their mom was. No one can really love and care for them like their mom, but they will be told the stories of what she has done for them and how great of a woman, mom, wife, daughter, sister, and aunt she was. Ashley will always and forever be loved and remembered. All funds will be designated to the support of our girls including their college funds.
