Support the Ride for Beverley School
Donation protected
ON AUGUST 6, 2023 — THE JOURNEY BEGINS!
Adam Foley and Geoff Agnew will circumnavigate Lake Ontario by bicycle over 7 days in support of the Beverley School’s continued dedication to its community, and commitment to providing children with developmental and/or physical disabilities a place where they can learn, grow and belong.
Our goal is to raise $15,000 to contribute to rebuilding the Beverley School's Sensory Motor Room. New equipment, sensory exploration, and overall updates will bring immense benefit to the students using this space. We are inviting anyone and everyone to donate and enrich this incredible community resource.
Our first $10,000 will be matched! We are beyond grateful — A beautiful friend of the community is generously going to match our first 10K. Donate now while each dollar counts for two!

ABOUT THE BEVERLEY SCHOOL
With respect, acceptance & encouragement, I can grow.
All students with exceptionalities have the right to reach their potential in a safe, secure, and encouraging learning environment.
Beverley is a public school that delivers educational services to students between the ages of 4 and 14 with developmental and/or physical disabilities. The Beverley school offers a wide range of activities and programs geared to this population. They follow an alternative curriculum that mirrors the Ontario Ministry of Education and over the years has provided exceptional learning opportunities. They continue to excel in creating limitless experiences for students.
THE RIDERS
A personal connection to the school has brought these ol’ pals together for another fundraising adventure.
Their last campaign raised more than $15,000 for ALS Canada as they travelled over 1,000 kilometres from Yankee Stadium to Downtown Toronto in honour of the 80th anniversary of Lou Gehrig appreciation day– a journey worthy of the cause. Adam would go on to volunteer as Chair of ALS Canada’s Revolution Ride for three consecutive years, including the inaugural launch.
Help support Adam and Geoff as they employ their abilities to raise funds and awareness for this meaningful cause. No donation is too small.
THE ROUTE
Adam and Geoff will start their journey in Burlington, Ontario and spend approximately seven days cycling around the perimeter of Lake Ontario, covering nearly 1,000 kilometres before returning home.
YOUR DONATIONS WILL HELP BUILD THE NEW SENSORY MOTOR ROOM
Our vision for the new Sensory Motor Room at Beverley is to provide a meaningful space where all students with a wide range of abilities can benefit. The goal of this space is to offer an inclusive, barrier free, prescriptively curated space for all students. Some of our children need to move their bodies to help with heart health, strength, endurance, and self-regulation, and others require a more subtle sensory experience to both ignite and stimulate, then calm and ground the body and mind.
The room will also provide opportunities for students to develop connections with a caring adult. After using the Sensory Motor Room, students can be better prepared for learning and interacting with others within the classroom and community.
Here's the before. Be part of the after.
