My name is Allison Pursley. I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart on behalf of the Rhodes family—My brother Sean, Alexa, their son Malachi, and their precious baby girl. Recently, Sean and Alexa received the heartbreaking news that their baby has been diagnosed with Alobar Holoprosencephaly, a severe condition where the brain does not divide into two hemispheres. Tragically, doctors have informed them that their precious little one will not survive long after birth.

As you can picture, this news has been devastating for the Rhodes family. They are now preparing for the unimaginable—both the medical care needed for sweet baby girl and the funeral expenses that will follow. This is an incredibly emotional and stressful time for them, and the last thing they should have to worry about is financial strain.

Despite their strength, Sean and Alexa find themselves in need of support from their community and beyond.

Alexa, a beloved member of the community, has always been there to lift others up with candy through her business Space Snacks LLC. Now, it’s our turn to lift her and her family up during this time of profound grief and hardship. We ask for your help in easing the financial burden on the Rhodes family so they can focus on cherishing the moments they will have with their baby and supporting each other through this heart-wrenching time.
