My name is Heather and I have known the Renfrey family for almost 15 years. During this time the family have had many difficult challenges and together Shane and Leanne have worked hard to bring up their three daughters Stephanie, Ruby and Willow.

Last week Shane sadly passed away suddenly at home leaving behind his Widow Leanne, Stephanie 22, Ruby 17 and Willow aged 12. Over the last few years Shane had battled heart disease including several heart attacks and multiple heart surgeries.

Despite being unwell he cared for his eldest daughter Stephanie full time who is deaf and has profound learning disabilities. Leanne (also deaf) worked 2 jobs quite often 7 days a week to make ends meet for their family.

The family are devastated by this unbearable loss and whilst dealing with this grief Leanne has found that they also have to move out of their home before April 30th as their current rental has been sold. Their car is not roadworthy, they have multiple bills that have accumulated, Education fees and Rent/Bond for a new property, not to mention everyday costs of food etc.

They are now facing a real financial crisis as Leanne cannot work as she needs to care for Steph.

With this GoFundMe fundraiser, we hope to provide some relief to the immediate and long-term financial needs of the Renfrey girls.
