The Construction of a Meditation Hall
Opened in 2006 Park of Study and Reflection Red Bluff it is part of a worldwide network of more than forty autonomous Parks. All the Parks are projects built and paid for by volunteers inspired by Silo’s teachings.
We promote the following values and aspirations: The Golden Rule - treating others as we want to be treated; just resistance to all forms of violence; the human being as the highest value; freedom of thought and belief; non-discrimination; respect for diversity regardless of background or belief, recognizing the signs of the sacred in everyday life; and living coherently - thinking, feeling and acting in the same direction.
This year, we have embarked on a significant project: the construction of a Hall for Peace and Reconciliation. This space will serve as a sanctuary, free from the distractions of everyday life, where people can gather to meditate, reflect, and focus on what truly matters in our lives. It will be a place of quiet refuge, open to all, where the seeds of peace and understanding can take root.
As a volunteer-driven community, we have already raised $70,000 toward this vision. But to bring this Hall to life, we need your support. Your generosity will help create a space that will inspire and nurture the spirit of peace and reconciliation for generations to come.
Please join us in making this vision a reality. Together, we can build a brighter and inspiring world.
