Hi, my name is Mr. Clifton Penny III, and I have the honor of directing the brand new Performing Arts Club at George Crockett Academy in Detroit. This year, we launched a program that gives our talented 4th–8th grade students a chance to shine through Dance, Vocal Performance, and Theatre—and now, we need your help to take things to the next level.

As a brand-new club, we’re starting from the ground up. Right now, we have:

• 7 dancers who need costumes, dance shoes, and foundational training equipment.

• 6 vocalists who need performance attire (dresses and shoes) and sheet music.

• 6 theatre students who need props, set pieces, and basic stage essentials.

With our first Spring Concert happening on May 30th at 6:00 PM, your support is more important than ever. This performance is our students’ big moment and we want to make sure they’re fully equipped to shine on stage with confidence and pride.

Your donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward making this event and the club a success. We believe in the power of the arts to inspire, uplift, and transform and our students are already proving just how powerful their creativity can be.
