Support for the Peña Family in Loving Memory of Bernardo Peña

On September 13th, our beloved Bernardo Peña was called home to be with the Lord. What began as a joyful day—floating the river with his daughter Bri, his wife Tiffany, and family—turned into a heartbreaking moment none of us could have imagined.

Bernardo was born in Stafford, Texas, and spent over 20 years married to his wife, Tiffany Peña. Together they raised their daughter, Brianna (“Bri”) Peña, who is currently a student at Texas State University. He was a loving husband, father, and friend, known for his faith, his passion for fishing, and his generous heart. As a skilled electrician, he was always ready to help others with his trade, no matter the need.

Bernardo was also the sole provider for his family. His sudden passing leaves Tiffany and Bri facing not only grief but also financial uncertainty. To help them during this time, we are seeking to raise $20,000 to provide 6–8 months of support, covering bills and daily living expenses so they can focus on healing.

The Word reminds us in Psalm 34:18:

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

And in Revelation 21:4:

“He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”
