Help! The Leader of a Hate Group is directly attacking us!

Parasol Patrol is a nonprofit dedicated to shielding children and young people from protesters at LGBTQIA2+ and BIPOC events. Our mission is to create a safe space for vulnerable communities, using umbrellas to block harmful signs and faces as we escort families through hostile environments. We even provide noise-canceling ear protection for the youngest among us to block out the hateful jeers often directed at them.

Our work has put us on the front lines against groups like Gays Against Groomers, Proud Boys, Patriot Front, Blood Tribe, QAnon, and Westboro Baptist Church, to name a few. Parasol Patrol was founded and is led by Queer, BIPOC, and Disabled individuals who are committed to this cause.

Unfortunately, we are now under direct attack from these hate groups, specifically from a state leader/representative ofGays Against Groomers. GAG has been identified as an Extremist Group by the Southern Poverty Law Center. This representative from GAG has been spreading misinformation about our leadership, volunteers, and the families we protect. And this State Leader/Representative allegedly attempted to obtain our Logo under Trademark laws. They have used this claim to temporarily suspended our Venmo and PayPal accounts—platforms where we receive the majority of our donations.
