Support the Orphans of Casa Hogar Irekani – Morelia, Mexico

For over 15 years, our family has been deeply connected to La Casa Hogar Irekani, a small orphanage in Morelia, Mexico that has become part of our extended family.

This home is led by one incredible woman, Sandra Martínez, and supported by just two part-time staff members. Together, they care for a growing family of 25+ children and young adults, ranging from infants to teens and beyond—all living together as one united family built on love, faith, hope, and resilience.

Many of these children have come from incredibly difficult and heartbreaking situations—some abandoned, some abused, others left with no one to care for them. But at La Casa Hogar Irekani, they are no longer alone. They are surrounded by a family that nurtures them, protects them, and helps them heal.

We first met Sandra through our family’s mission work in Mexico, and from that first visit, we’ve watched these kids grow into kind, joyful, and resilient young people. Some have even gone on to attend top universities and return to serve their communities.

But the need is always there. La Casa Hogar Irekani is always in need of donations to provide food, clothing, school supplies, and basic home maintenance. With such a small team, Sandra and her staff wear every hat—cooking, cleaning, comforting, and keeping everything running for the kids they love like their own.

They are not just orphans. They are a family—united by faith, love, and a shared sense of purpose.

As it says in Matthew 25:40:

“Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”
