We are a group of massage therapists, bodyworkers, and somatic practitioners in Boston looking to open a NEW STUDIO in JAMAICA PLAIN, right off centre st.

And we’re calling on our beloved communities to support and invest in the opening of this community healing space.

Our values: centering the needs of our queer, trans, disabled, and BIPOC communities by offering accessible, inclusive, trauma-informed care. The studio is wheelchair accessible, there are sliding scale options, and all practitioners hold a healing justice lens in their own practices.

Our vision: to open a healing space in the heart of JP committed to building systems of radical community care, with a variety of somatic offerings - massage therapy, somatic integration, manual lymph drainage, energy work & reiki, sports massage & stretching - by different practitioners.

Our need: to open the studio by October 1st, we need to raise $4000 for first, last, and security payments. That is our most urgent need. However, there are so many other costs associated with opening up a new space, including new materials, so anything raised above $4000 will go towards building the space up!

Nayahra Resende, LMT - Stages of the Moon Bodywork

Through consent-forward intuitive touch, I help create a container to support the movement of energy, while also tending to the physical body. I offer different modalities depending on what each body needs, including Thai Bodywork, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, Sports Massage, Craniosacral Therapy and Breathwork.

My practice is rooted in love and in our personal and collective liberation and I believe that reconnecting with our bodies - however that may look for you - resources us to show up for ourselves, our communities, and our interconnected movements for liberation.
~
Born Bi-Kim, LMT - Tao1Life & BodyWorks, LLC

I guide clients toward holistic wellness through hands-on bodywork, mindful movement, and integrative healing practices. My work blends Structural Integration, Tui-Na massage, Reiki, and Ayurvedic- inspired relaxation therapies to release pain, restore balance, and unlock the body’s natural flow of energy.

Each session is tailored to address not only physical discomfort but also the emotional and energetic patterns that underlie stress and imbalance.
~
Kai Pearl, LMT - Queer Body Collective

I offer both massage therapy and somatic integration sessions. I use modalities such as Swedish massage, deep tissue, sports, stretching, myofascial release, cupping and hot stones. I also use the Internal Family Systems parts framework, stretching, movement, Reiki, Craniosacral unwinding, and breathwork. We may blend different styles and modalities depending on your goals.

My work is grounded in the belief that elements of our physical, emotional, and spiritual selves are all intertwined. When we tend to our bodies, we begin to heal. Our bodies both a map of the past, and a pathway to a liberated future, individually and collectively. In my work, my goal is to provide a space for clients to slow down, listen to, and collaborate with the innate wisdom of their body.

~
Jo Elliot Gutierrez, LMT - Queer Body Collective

My practice centers working with trans bodies and creating a community around bodies, supporting each other and lifting each other up to face the systems of power and oppression. I have a gentle and soothing trauma informed style that focuses on deep nervous system coregulation including post gender affirming surgery massage, manual lymph drainage, swedish massage and shiatsu.

I am COVID cautious in my personal life and have a fully masked practice.
