IMPORTANT UPDATE:
This group exists to keep the KMW LA Sherman Oaks and West LA communities together during this transition period. Our goal is to preserve training continuity for existing students, families, and instructors while we operate out of a temporary location in the Valley. We are also supporting our West LA family as they prepare to move into their new permanent home.
We are not a competing organization. We are not splintering from Krav Maga Worldwide. We are a community in transition, actively looking for the right permanent home in the Valley.
If you know of a gym, facility, or investor who believes in what this community stands for, contact us.
We are incredibly grateful for the support, cooperation, and ongoing discussions that are keeping this community training together.

Help Keep Our Krav Maga Community Alive
For years, our Krav Maga gym has been more than a place to train. It has been a community. A second home. A place where adults and kids alike built confidence, friendships, discipline, resilience, and real-world self-defense skills.
Recently, we learned that our current location will be closing with very little notice.
Rather than let this community disappear, our instructors, students, parents, and supporters are coming together to build the next chapter ourselves.
We are launching a temporary “Phase 0” training program so we can continue classes immediately while we work toward securing a permanent home for the gym.
This transition is happening fast. We are building a new operation from the ground up almost overnight:
- establishing a legal business entity
- securing insurance
- renting temporary training spaces
- setting up scheduling and billing systems
- transporting and storing equipment
- preserving kids and adult classes
- supporting the instructors who are stepping up to keep this community together
Our immediate goal is continuity.
We want:
- kids to keep training with familiar instructors
- students to maintain progress and confidence
- families to keep their routines
- our community to stay connected during the transition
Every dollar raised will go directly toward startup and transition costs, including:
- temporary facility rentals
- liability insurance
- gym management software and payment systems
- equipment transportation and storage
- website and communication tools
- administrative setup costs
- building a reserve fund for a future permanent location
This is a grassroots effort powered entirely by the people who care about this community.
If you have trained with us, supported us, or simply believe in the value of strong local communities and self-defense training, we would be incredibly grateful for your support.
Even if you cannot donate, sharing this campaign helps tremendously.
We know the road ahead will take hard work, flexibility, and patience, but we believe this community is worth fighting for.
Thank you for helping us keep Krav Maga alive and build the next chapter together.
