Support the Murphys' Adoption Journey

Dear Family, Friends, and Kind Supporters,

We are excited to share that we are in the process of adopting a little girl! After much prayer and careful consideration, we have made the decision to expand our family through adoption, and we couldn't be more thrilled to welcome our new daughter into our home.

As many of you know, our two boys bring endless joy, love, and laughter into our lives. We feel our family is ready to grow, and we are eagerly preparing to welcome a precious little girl into our hearts. This adoption journey is both beautiful and challenging, and as we move forward, we are reaching out to ask for your support.

The cost of domestic adoption can be significant, and we want to be transparent about the financial commitment involved. The funds raised here will go directly toward covering the following expenses:

Adoption Agency Fees: These fees support the agency's work in matching us with a child, providing counseling and guidance throughout the process, and helping with all of the necessary paperwork.

Legal Fees: We will need an attorney to help with the legal process, including court filings and finalization of the adoption.

Home Study Fees: A social worker will assess our home and family to ensure we are ready to provide a safe, loving environment for our new daughter.

Birth Parent Expenses: In some cases, birth parent support, including medical care and counseling, is part of the process.

Post-Adoption Support: We anticipate some post-adoption counseling and resources to ensure a smooth transition for our family and for our new daughter.

The total cost of adoption can range from $20,000 to $60,000 or more, depending on the specific circumstances. While we are committed to covering much of these costs ourselves, we are humbly asking for help to ensure that we can bring our daughter home as soon as possible.
