We never dreamed that we would ever have to do this but our family has come to a crossroads. Most of you know us and some of the struggles we have endured over the last 2 years but we have never really came out and made public the financial burden we have been thrown into.

When Brisan and Caden were born premature we knew there would be a nicu stay involved, and were prepared for that but the events that followed that stay no one could ever have predicted.

Their second nicu/picu stay totaled at over 1 million dollars each billed to our insurance. While that's great, a billing mishap on the hospitals part has led to travis's insurance never being billed and my insurance refusing to pay for a lot of this.

That's just one part of our medical story, since then brisan has had 2 admissions, and one eye surgery. While caden has had 4 admissions, and a major gtube placement surgery as well. As you also know caden has cerebral palsy and is considered global developmental delayed. He has a feeding tube and its unknown what his progress may be, or the extent of the physical abilities be may have in the future. For now he is 100% total care dependent for his needs.

Caden alone costs us about 800$ a month in medications, medical supplies, countless specialist and therapy co-pays etc.

We have been managing, barely keeping afloat.... when today we got another blow. Lauren's car, cadens main transportation to get everywhere from daycare to all good appointments is out of commission and needs a new engine.

There is no way we can afford this along with everything else on our plates, so while it's the last thing we ever saw ourselves doing we are reaching out for help, because currently we don't know what else to do.
