Sean and Kelsey McCrink have spent years lifting up the families of Kauaʻi—now it’s our turn to lift them up. Many know Sean and Kelsey for their huge hearts and tireless work serving the youth of our island. Through their nonprofit, they provide life-changing experiences for the keiki of Kauaʻi, including off-island snowboarding trips, skateboarding events, and ongoing outreach that brings joy, mentorship, and opportunity to our community.
Recently, their family took an even bigger step of love by fostering two children, Alii and Ailani, welcoming them into their home alongside Kelsey’s daughter, Sienna. Their home is full of love, but right now, they are facing an unexpected hardship. Sean has suffered an injury that has left him unable to walk or drive for the next two months. This has placed the weight of supporting the entire household on Kelsey—emotionally, financially, and physically—while they continue caring for their foster children and keeping their nonprofit afloat. This sudden loss of income and mobility has created a serious strain on their family. Despite everything they’re going through, they continue to pour love into Kauaʻi’s children and show up for the community whenever they can.
Sean and Kelsey have been there for so many families. They’ve given their time, their resources, and their hearts without hesitation. Now, as they navigate medical challenges, the demands of fostering, and day-to-day expenses, they need support from all of us who have seen the impact of their generosity. Funds raised will help with medical and recovery expenses, household bills while Sean is unable to work, support for their foster keiki, Alii and Ailani, and keeping their nonprofit efforts going during this difficult time. Any amount—big or small—will make a meaningful difference. If you can’t donate, sharing this fundraiser with others would be an incredible help. Let’s surround the McCrink family with the same love, strength, and aloha they’ve always shared with us. Mahalo for helping support a family that has given so much to the children of Kauaʻi. With love, Your Elephit Family.
