Hi there! We are Taylor and Amanda McCart and we are SO thankful you are considering giving to our snowflake adoption journey!

6 years ago we were faced with a rare and difficult diagnosis of infertility that moved doctors to share with us that conceiving children on our own was impossible and we should pursue other paths to parenthood apart from our own biological children. We know nothing is impossible with our God and he can always change our story, but until He does we feel called to use this opportunity God has given us to meet a need. Currently there is a need for families to adopt through snowflake or embryo adoption. There is close to 1 million orphans currently frozen in storage as too often fertility clinics and the current IVF process leads to the conception of more embryos than a couple can use for IVF.

These tiny image bearers of God face one of 4 options: destruction or donation for research both of which lead to death of the embryo, indefinite frozen storage, or adoption, which is where we are stepping in! We believe that God ultimately holds life in His hands and he has blessed these frozen babes with LIFE!

We have completed a home study and matched with a kind and compassionate couple that is choosing LIFE for their remaining embryos. They chose the McCart family to be a forever home for them and we are truly honored. Snowflake adoption allows Amanda to carry our adopted child through the process of an embryo transfer. The process of embryo adoption is costly. The funds from this fundraiser will go to the adoption process and medical procedures associated with the transfer.
