Support the Martin Family's Adoption Journey

We are the Martin Family! Our family is once again adopting a baby! Baby #3 due September 2024. We need your help to raise funds for our adoption.

On Tuesday we got the call that our youngest sons birth mom is excepting a baby girl and she wanted a family that adopted a sibling to adopt her. Cody and I thought about it and on 7/19 we got final word that she chose us to adopt the baby.

This adoption looks a lot different as we were not planning to adopt but God had other plans for us.

A little bit about us. We are Cody and Ellen. We are both 29 years old. We are high school sweethearts from a college town. Farm life is a huge part of who we are and has taught us a lot of life lessons we plan on teaching our children. Through our 9 years of marriage we have lost 3 babies. Our son, Haze passed away from special needs shortly after birth and we have had 2 ectopic pregnancies. Ellen had severe pre-eclampsia and HELLP syndrome with the pregnancy of our son. After our last pregnancy Ellen had major surgery making our chances of ever getting pregnant again very low. In 2023 she had a hysterectomy so we no longer are able to have biological children. Even though our children are in heaven and not here with us they are a part of our family and we talk about them to help others going through loss like we have. We have adopted 2 boys that are the light of our lives and hope to welcome this baby God willing into our family. Our youngest son also has a biological sister that lives in the town next to ours that was adopted as well. 3 biological siblings could be so close together and grow up having a strong relationship. Such wonderful things God is doing even though we can't see the full picture yet. We need your help to make this happen!
