On Sunday, August 19th, the Marotta Family's home was severely impacted by a torrential rainstorm that caused extensive damage. The storm created sinkholes in their backyard, with one destroying their pool. The damage didn't stop there—their finished basement was completely flooded, ruining carpeting, walls, furniture, clothes, and office space.

The Marotta Family, with four children—Justin (Centereach High School Class of 2018), Alexa (a rising senior at Centereach High School), Samantha (entering 9th grade at Centereach High School), and Lucas (entering 4th grade at Holbrook Road)—is facing an overwhelming amount of damage to their home and possessions.
