Over 1000’s of families lives have been affected by the Eaton Fire. Loss of homes, businesses, jobs, schools, vehicles, etc.

My family is one of those victims in Altadena. Little did we know that on Wednesday 1/8/25, that would be the last time my family and I would see our standing home. Thankfully we made it out except for our cat Max, who was so scared that she hid and was unable to be saved before the fire got worse. The home that I’ve only ever known is nothing more than ashes. The home that my grandma provided and raised her children, grandchildren, cousins & others in is gone. We are homeless and cannot afford anything as close to what we once shared.

I know it’s a push but if you can find it in your heart to donate something for expenses that are not covered by other aid so that my family can have some funds to help get us back on our feet because 

there is nothing left. This is one of the hardest things that I’ve ever had to deal with and hearing my mom say “I’m homeless” with tears in her eyes and I can’t do anything about it, is just a feeling I don’t wish on anybody.
