Support The Loop Chapel Hill Employees
Donation protected
The Loop in Chapel Hill has long been a beloved gathering place for our community, known for its welcoming atmosphere and the dedicated team that makes every visit special. Recently, severe flooding caused by Chantel forced the restaurant to close, leaving about 30 hardworking employees—many of whom are the sole providers for their families—suddenly out of work. Among them are parents supporting young children, all facing uncertainty as they wait for the restaurant to reopen.
The employees at The Loop are more than just staff; they are neighbors and friends who know regulars by name, remember favorite orders, and go out of their way to accommodate every guest’s needs. Their commitment to service and the community has made The Loop a cornerstone in Chapel Hill for years. Now, as they face this unexpected hardship, they need our support more than ever.
Funds raised will be distributed by store manager Margaret Oatney directly to the employees to help cover urgent needs like rent and groceries. By coming together, we can help these dedicated individuals and their families weather this difficult time and ensure The Loop remains a vibrant part of our community.
