Dearest Friends,
It is with heavy hearts, we ask for your help.
Our dear friend and a member of our wonderful Dundas School/east-end community, Lindsay Lickrish, unexpectedly lost her husband Ken on November 24th. Lindsay is one of the sweetest and kindest people that we have ever had the honour of knowing.
Ken left behind a lovely wife and three young children - Lauren, Ryan and Hannah. Lauren (Grade 1) and Ryan (JK) are both enrolled at Dundas Jnr Public school and Hannah is still at home. As you can imagine, the family is grieving right now and the last thing we want is for them to worry about finances (funeral, bills, childcare, the list goes on) as they navigate their new world - a life without Ken, a life without a Dad.
In an effort to show our support to Lindsay and her family, please donate whatever financial help you are able to. We hope that with our support, we will be able to help Lindsay and the kids as they try to manage their way through this incredibly difficult period. All funds raised will be controlled directly by Lindsay.
Our community, our village, can really help make a difference. The funds we raise will be used to cover the plethora of costs coming their way - mortgage payments, childcare, groceries, and activities for the kids.
It takes a village to raise a child and in this case, our tightly-knit community has an opportunity to help raise three children.
Please give from your heart and forward this request to anyone you think might provide help.
