In our own community, there are children struggling in school — not because they aren’t capable, but because of circumstances outside their control. When a family hits sudden hardship, everything shifts. Attendance drops. Focus disappears. Confidence declines. Schools work hard to support students — but when families are stuck waiting on systems that move slowly, children fall behind in the meantime. The Lexington Family Stability Program was created to step in quickly. We provide short-term, targeted support that removes immediate barriers impacting a child’s ability to attend school, stay regulated, and remain engaged in the classroom. We are not replacing public assistance programs. We are filling the critical window before delays become long-term damage. Every dollar raised goes directly toward helping local families stabilize quickly — so children can stay on track. This isn’t charity. This is prevention. This is community responsibility.
