Over many years, I gathered these writings and paintings, carefully compiling them into what is now my completed book and collection of art.

I am a survivor of the Syrian war. The years of conflict left me facing unimaginable hardship, but through it all, I turned to painting and writing as my only escape. With every brushstroke and every note I wrote, I was recording my journey — the pain, the survival, and the hope for something beyond destruction.

This has been more than a creative project; it has been my way of holding on to life, of transforming struggle into something meaningful that can be shared with the world.

Something which reflects how I hold on to hope and brighter days.

Now, I have reached the final step: protecting my work legally so that it remains truly mine. To do this, I need to cover the cost of copyright lawyers, affidavit papers proving the originality of my art, and the official registration process with the Intellectual Property Office of Canada. These are expenses I cannot carry alone after years of struggle.
