We are raising money to publish a statement by law firms and lawyers from Maine affirming the rule of law on Law Day (May 1) 2025.

Contribute money here. Add your signature to the statement by emailing your law firm's name and/or your full name to LawDay2025 -at- gmail.com.

Our goal is to publish two full-page ads in the Portland Press Herald and the Bangor Daily News on Law Day with a statement and signatures from all lawyers supporting the statement. The cost to do so is $11,017.

Please pitch in what you can. Two hundred donations of $60 will achieve our goal and make our statement as visible as possible!

If we raise less, we will publish smaller ads and/or limit our publication to the Portland Press Herald. If we raise more money than our goal, the Steering Committee will use any excess at its sole discretion to support similar causes to those identified in our statement.
