Support the Laing Family in their Hour of Need

They say it takes a community to raise a child and I say it takes a community to support a family. My Cousin was given the devastating news during covid that she has breast cancer, a disease that took her mums life some 2 years prior to this. With three young children and a husband, Amanda has given the best fight of her life. However, due to long gaps in treatment and many setbacks during the height of covid her cancer was in remission for only a short period. Just before Christmas last year the devastating blow that cancer had returned and is now in her lymph nodes. Currently, she is waiting to be discharged from the Beatson hospital as there is nothing else they can do in the way of treatment to prolong her life. Her timescale is now very limited and they can't be certain she will live for Christmas let alone into 2024. The devastating news for Amanda, will also sadly result in her losing her family home as she is unable to pay her mortgage. She will need to present herself and her family as 'homeless' and the future thereafter is very uncertain. She and her husband have worked everyday of their lives since leaving school, they have been self sufficient in trying to raise their three children aged 8, 9 and 11 years the very best they can. Cancer will take her life but at this stage is also jeopardising the future of her family as financially they are struggling. I am appealing to you with any assistance as there will be future bills and expenses to be met in the not too distant future.
