Support the Kurtz Family's Temporary Displacement

Neighbors, friends, and longtime residents of the Summergrove community, Brandi and Allen Kurtz and their three children, have experienced a recent hardship. The family was unexpectedly displaced from their home in September due to structural damage to the home from a company hitting a sewage pipe. Given the nature of the damage, the family is unable to live there and probably won’t be able to move back home until mid January. Currently, the Kurtz family is living in a hotel in Newnan and have experienced both emotional and financial challenges for a lengthy period of time. The Kurtz family are active in their neighborhood and church and have befriended many during their time living in this community.

We are hoping that this fundraising effort will aid in the family’s ability to deal with expenditures of lodging, food, and daily living expenses as insurance and the company aren’t paying out in a timely manner. With a great deal of uncertainty surrounding when the family will be able to move back into their home, we hope to support them in their time of need.
