The Jeremiah and Tenay Kinde family lives in a rural part of Ethiopia, a country known for its beauty and resilience but also for the challenges many of its people face. Recently, the Kinde family experienced a devastating loss when the government tore down their home to make way for new apartment buildings—apartments that are not for them. With nowhere to turn but to family and the church, they are facing an uncertain future.

On top of losing their home, Jeremiah suffered a severe infection in his foot that developed into gangrene. The infection spread quickly, and his leg had to be amputated to save his life. Now, unable to work, Jeremiah is struggling to support his wife Tenay, their 12-year-old daughter, and their four-year-old son. The family is doing their best to stay hopeful, but the challenges are overwhelming.

Funds raised through this campaign will help the Kinde family find a new place to live, provide food for their children, and cover the medical care Jeremiah needs to recover and adapt to his new circumstances.
