Support the Jordans' Adoption Journey

Hi, my name is Wendy Pankowski. I am raising funds for my uncle and aunt, Chuck and Jessica Jordan to help with adoption cost. I was shocked with a simple google search at the cost of a domestic adoption. The average cost ranges from $20,000-$45,000. I can’t be the only person to feel this is ridiculous. I do not want to imagine the number of children that have been denied a loving, nurturing, safe, fulfilled childhood because of adoption costs.

As those closest to my aunt and uncle know, their journey to have a family has been long and difficult. After 14 years and many losses, the Lord blessed them with their son Jacob, who has always been their world. Although they always wanted more children, they had not been gifted the opportunity. Thankfully, but unbeknownst to them, GOD had a plan. Jessica was asked by a family that knew her from a previous working relationship to be a part-time and temporary caregiver of a newborn baby girl. They were over the top excited to have a baby in the home and instantly fell in love, as we all did. It didn’t take long for the situation to become full-time and the opportunity to adopt. Baby K (as we call her), has truly completed the Jordan family. Not only is she adored by Chuck and Jessica but Jacob as well. Watching Baby K and Jacob interact is sure to put a smile on your face. Although there is a relatively large difference in age, the bond they share is amazing. I, myself didn’t realize the emotional journey that adoption offers until Baby K entered our lives. Her smile melts everyone’s heart. The adoption journey often has bumpy roads. The Jordan’s journey is no different. One of those bumps is unforeseen, additional expenses. The thought of delaying the final proceedings is heartbreaking for all. I ask that you prayerfully consider joining us in helping to raise funds for Baby K’s adoption expenses. Chuck and Jessica would never ask for help, so that is why I am organizing this GoFundMe on their behalf.
