My name is Jenna Jolley and I am the daughter in law to Tammie and Glenn Jolley. During Hurricane Helene a 70+ ft pine tree came down and landed on the front part of their home in upstate, Sc. The insurance adjustor came out and originally said it could be fix but upon further inspection they have claimed the home to be a total loss. The way the tree landed it has shifted the structure of their home. Like many others who were affected by Hurricane Helene, my in-laws tried applying for FEMA and were denied assistance. The insurance policy that they had is not enough to cover the extent of the damage that was done by the hurricane. Due to the costs involved I was reaching out in this way to see if we can lessen the burden for them as they are trying to figure out the best way to move forward. They will be using the funds raised to help rebuild their home. My mother in law, father in law and my husband’s 94 year old grandmother are currently living with my sister in law and her family (their daughter). If you have made it this far I want to thank you! We understand so many people are struggling during this recovery period from the storm.
