Support the Inglewood Photo Festival |. Help Us Reach $30,000
Hi, my name is Amadou Kante, Founder of the Inglewood Photo Festival (IPF) a registered non-profit organization 501(C) (3) , and I am reaching out on behalf of IPF , a community-driven arts initiative dedicated to supporting photographers, advancing visual storytelling, and expanding access to culture.
Last year, the Inglewood Photo Festival became a reality because of the generosity and belief of our community. Through the fundraising efforts of Fahey/Klein Gallery and the support of partners including Icon LA, Freestyle Photo & Supplies, The Candid Frame Podcast, Mt. Melvil, Interpubliq Magazine, and the City of Inglewood, we activated The Miracle Theater and the adjacent vacant space, transforming them into a vibrant cultural gathering place for artists and the public.
One of the most meaningful outcomes of our inaugural festival was the launch of our Photo Book Award, which supported photographer María Abranches in producing and publishing her book , a tangible example of the opportunities IPF creates.
This year, IPF is expanding by activating an extra space to accommodate more activities and programming.
As we prepare for our next festival on May 16–17, we are raising $30,000 to secure the core production of the event.
This funding will support:
• Venue rental
• Exhibition production
• Printing and installation
• Artist programming
• Essential operational costs for the two-day festival
If we exceed our $30,000 goal, additional funds will go toward expanding programming and supporting our next Emerging Photo Book Award.
Every contribution helps sustain a platform where photographers have space, visibility, and opportunity.
IPF is free and open to the public, because access to culture should not be a barrier.
Thank you for standing with the Inglewood Photo Festival.
And thank you again for supporting the photography community!
