My name is Gavin Kreiling and I am a member of Scouts BSA Troop 15 based out of La Crosse, WI. I am currently working towards getting my Eagle Scout, which requires planning and overseeing a project that benefits my community.

For my project, I plan to add benches and nature signs to a small nature trail on the north side of La Crosse, called the Budd Hendrickson Nature Trail. Since most of the Northside is industrial, the trail is one of the few places where people can take a walk in the outdoors close to their own home.

By adding these improvements to the nature trail, I hope to make it more accessible to people as well as allow them to learn a little bit about the world around them.
