We, the Honeycutts, need your help. Marcellus was suddenly taken from us, and we were completely blindsided by it. Nobody saw this coming, nor were we ready for it…

Although we still have yet to determine what all is needed and how we’re getting it, we do know that there are going to be funeral expenses, and as he was the main breadwinner, help is going to be needed with the immediate bills and other needs. There are family members that need to get here as well from all over the country, who don’t necessarily have the funds to do so…

Thus the reason for the page, but I hate asking others for help without offering them something in return - so I won’t.

For every $20 donation, a person can and will get their name entered into a drawing for 3 acoustic guitars from my collection. Donate $40, get two entries. $60 gets three entries, and so on.

First name drawn on December 1st gets an immaculate all-solid Inspired by Gibson Epiphone Dove. Value with case is $700. We will release this for the drawing as soon as we reach $2800,

Second name drawn gets a very rare Yamaha FJ-645A rare jumbo body acoustic. Selling with case on Reverb for $825-1200. This will join the drawing pool as soon as we reach $6500

Last name drawn gets the “Grand Prize.” A copy of the King of Dreadnoughts, the Martin D-45. The real ones sell new for as high as $10,000, and it will join the pool when we reach our goal.

Please make sure we know who you are by giving us your name if possible. The more you donate, the more entries you’ll get, and if you just want to donate and don’t want to have your name entered, let me know or enter your donation anonymously. If we don’t reach the stated goals for all three guitars to be drawn, whatever goal is reached we will still draw for that/those guitars. If we reach the goal of $2800, the first name drawn will get their choice of any of the three guitars. If we reach the second goal of $6500, the second name drawn will get their choice of the remaining two. If we reach the total goal, the third one will get released, and then the drawing will be as stated above, picking a name for a drawing where the first name gets the Dove, second name gets the Yamaha Jumbo and the third name gets the grand prize of the D-45 copy.

We sincerely appreciate all the help we can get, and please pray for my brother’s wife and kids, as he has been the rock for them and suddenly he is gone. The future is so uncertain right now for all of us, and we are all devastated. But his wife and kids have lost everything. They weren’t prepared for this at all - how could they be - and the world has lost one of the kindest souls we know.
