Like many people that choose to live in a close community, when friends in my circle are struggling... I want to help. Challenging times have hit the Hobson family in Fruita, CO. Let's help Amanda, Brandon, and Cannon.

A fire burned quickly through their rental house. Amanda was home and got out safely, but with burns that will take time to heal. Most of their things were destroyed or are unsalvageable. The dogs are okay, but one of them had days of emergency vet care. The cat, unfortunately, did not make it.

Thankfully, our community has rallied around them, providing short-term shelter, and their basic needs are covered. Can you imagine, within the blink of an eye, having to start over?

There will be a long road of paperwork and bills and replacing and rebuilding. There will be grief and loss and healing and letting go.

In time, laughter and joy will return to this family. For now, I hope we can ease some of the worry and stress as they regroup and move forward by donating money for whatever they need. Will you join me? Even the smallest gifts add up.
