This April, my classmates and I from Meadowbrook Christian School will be traveling to Panama for a mission trip. In addition to doing some light construction, and assisting the church, our goal is to raise funds for the Herrera family. Pastor Heitor shepherds Iglesia Wesleyan Emmanuel in Colombre, Panama, where he cares for his wife and eight children. To support them, he runs a bakery, as shown in the photos above. But, he needs equipment like a dough mixer, trays, a stainless steel table, and a display case to expand.

We are excited to see the Lord work during our time in Panama, and we’re inspired by Pastor Heitor’s dedication to his family and community.
