Support the Henrys After Losing Kitten Bruce
Donation protected
Hey friends and family, as you may have seen on Facebook already, we adopted a kitten, Bruce.
Unfortunately Bruce took a turn for the worse on Saturday and I ended up taking him to the emergency Vets. After blood work and xrays and a couple hours on oxygen, it was discovered that Bruce was born with a congenital lung disease and nothing could be done to save his life.
I had to make the terrible but best decision for him, to be euthanized. Which absolutely gutted me.
If you've seen my post on fb than you already know that we already lost our 2 oldest cats early this spring. Lane and I took a field trip to the NHSPCA and immediately fell in love with Bruce. Without hesitation, we adopted him that day.
We may have only gotten to spend 3 weeks with him but let me tell you, he brought SO MUCH joy into our home. He had every single one of us wrapped right around his little paw. Our children are absolutely devastated.
As some of you may also know, I have been out of work for the past 4 weeks. Yes I do have a job, I'm just waiting for the new business to open back up, which we will be in the next couple weeks. I was prepared for this "layoff" time and had set money aside so once we were down to one income we would still be fine and be able to take care of christmas shopping and not have to stress. I didn't plan on spending literally every dime of that money to try and save what we assumed to be a healthy kitten when we got him.
I know money is tight for everyone right now and I would never ask anyone to give something they don't have or can't afford to. With that being said please if you choose to donate and help us try to recoup some of our savings, do not give too much. And by too much I mean more than the cost of your Netflix subscription or a case of beer ( I don't know how much a case of beer cost)
We appreciate you all and thank you for hearing me out. ❤️ The Henry's
