On July 4th, shortly after 11pm, tragedy struck for the Jermin family, the employees, and our beautiful community.
Templeton Feed & Grain has been a part of our community since 1946 and has stood as an iconic landmark, a beautiful backdrop for parades & community events, and most importantly, it has helped our local ranchers provide feed for their livestock. On July 4th, shortly after 11pm, a firework was seen on security footage from surrounding businesses being thrown onto the lower roof, setting the building on fire. Our beautiful building was destroyed. This is a devastating loss for our community and has left many speechless. While the Jermin family has requested we hold off on fundraising for Templeton Feed and Grain, let’s all help come together to support the wonderful and amazing staff who have done our heavy lifting and have served this community with care. The staff with bills to pay, families to support, the staff that is unsure what is next. It’s our turn to help them.
I firmly believe in the strength and the unity of this community and the way everyone comes together during times of need. Any amount is appreciated and goes a long way.
