Please join me in supporting The Hazoutte Family of Nir Oz (Parents-Gili and Koren, and four children-12,10,7, and 5). On October 7th, six members of their family were brutally murdered—Koren’s mother, brother, sister-in-law, and 3 nieces/nephews.

To escape the horrors that they endured, and to provide their children with a sense of respite and security, Gili and Koren have relocated their family to Boca after being told by a distant friend about our warm and welcoming Jewish community.

The only home that they knew was completely destroyed—they have come to the US with literally the shirts on their backs, and are in need of all of the essentials to make their house feel like a home (I.e. furniture, all household essentials, etc.)

Most importantly, in order to give the four children a sense of security and normalcy that they so need and deserve, they will be joining a Jewish Day School for the remainder of the year, where they will feel comfortable in a Jewish, Hebrew speaking environment. While the school is being incredibly generous and working with us to cut tuition greatly, there is still a major expense per child that we need to raise.

I have been personally involved with this special family since their arrival, and their appreciation for any support is endless.
