On Friday June 26, Sheridan and Mykie faced the situation we all dread - their house caught on fire and they were left with nothing but the clothes on their backs. An electrical fire in the attic meant the fire burned for hours before it burst through the roof and alerted them with smoke. Fortunately, the whole family was out front and no one was harmed. Unfortunately, they have lost everything and are left wondering what is going to happen next. With two babies under the age of 3, Sheridan and Mykie are trying to figure out how to comfort their children, navigate insurance and investigations, and find a place to live.
