Hi, I'm Rose Stempo.
I never imagined that glioblastoma would touch my family, but today I am watching someone I love fight one of the most aggressive forms of brain cancer.
My niece has always been the kind of person who puts others first. Before her diagnosis, she worked full-time, cared for her six children, helped family members who depended on her, and spent her evenings working to create a better future for her family. When glioblastoma entered her life, everything changed.
What inspires me most is that despite the challenges she faces, she does not want donations for herself. Her wish is that any money raised go directly toward glioblastoma research so that future patients and families may have better treatment options, more hope, and better outcomes.
Watching someone face Grade 4 unmethylated glioblastoma has shown me how exhausting, frightening, and heartbreaking this disease can be—not only for the person diagnosed, but for everyone who loves them.
That is why this fundraiser was crested in support of the Glioblastoma Foundation.
All donations go directly to glioblastoma research through the foundation, not to me or my family.
Even if you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser can help raise awareness and support research for a disease that urgently needs better answers.
Thank you for reading, caring, and helping bring hope to families facing glioblastoma.
