It is with shattered hearts that we share the tragic passing of our beautiful niece, Leigha Germanowski. Leigha courageously fought Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma (ARMS), a rare and aggressive cancer, for the last two years. Leigha was just 16 years old at the time of her passing.

Through her battle with this incurable disease, she had the unwavering and unparalleled love and support of her parents, Valerie and Sean Germanowski. From the moment of her diagnosis, Leigha and her parents put every ounce of energy and resource they had into fighting this disease, all while maintaining an upbeat and positive attitude for the good of Leigha’s quality of life. Her family and friends want Leigha to be remembered not only for her brave fight, but in the words of her parents, as a kind, sensitive, brave, strong, intelligent, and beautiful girl who had a witty sense of humor. Her loss leaves a hole in the hearts of all who knew her.

In honor of Leigha’s memory, we are attempting to raise money for her family to help with extensive funds spent on medical costs, time lost at work and support them in their unimaginable grief. All funds raised will go directly to the Germanowski family as they attempt to move forward and navigate this next chapter of their life.
