Support the Garcia family during this tragedy

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-hearted Strangers,
It is with a heavy heart and deep gratitude that we turn to you in this time of overwhelming loss. After 45+ years of calling our Altadena house home, my parents' home has been lost. Though we are all safe—our family and pets are okay—the emotional and financial toll of this tragedy has left us struggling to find our footing.
This house wasn’t just a place to live; it was the center of our family’s story. For more than four decades, it held memories of birthdays, holidays, and countless moments of laughter, love, and togetherness. It was where we grew up, where our children played, where we gathered with friends, and where we dreamed about the future.
The Eaton Fire took everything. The structure, the possessions, everything. We are grieving not just the loss of a home, but of a piece of our hearts. However, as we cope with this loss, we are thankful that we still have each other and that no one was physically harmed.
Now, as we process the aftermath, we are humbly reaching out to our community for support. Whether you can contribute financially, offer resources, or simply share this campaign, your help will make a difference. Every donation—no matter how big or small—will go toward helping my parents get back on their feet, covering the costs of finding a temporary place to stay, securing essential belongings, and beginning the long process of getting our lives together.
We are so grateful for the love and support of everyone around us during this difficult time. If you cannot contribute financially, please consider sharing this campaign with your network to help us spread the word.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, generosity, and the strength you lend us as we try to heal. We are truly blessed to have such an incredible support system.
With love and gratitude,
The Garcia Family
