On September 15th after 4 years apart and over 24 hours of travel the Gamboa family was finally reunited. Michelle (Mom + Wife) has been working tirelessly away from family to create a better life in Canada for her husband and 2 kids in the Philippines. After years of being a part, their Visas were finally approved and they had the chance to be together as a family.

On September 18th, Bernard was taken to the hospital due to pain and admitted immediately. He was rushed to surgery and remained in the ICU until doctors could discuss the next steps. Unfortunately, his condition worsened and was put on life support.

On September 20, 2023 just 5 short days after being reunited as a family, Bernard was taken off life support surrounded by his wife Michelle, daughter Bea and son Miguel. Their family across the globe joined virtually from the US, Japan and Philippines to show support and mourn as a family.

We are asking for financial donations to support Michelle, Bea and Miguel during this difficult transition as they navigate life as a family of 3 in a new country.
