ChaseTV started during Covid with one simple aim: keeping local people informed.

What began as a small community page has grown into something much bigger. Since the snow chaos at Churchbridge earlier this year, the support and audience has exploded. Since then, I’ve covered everything from murders, fires and breaking incidents to chip shop reviews, cake reviews and the stories that matter to local people every single day.

If something is happening locally, people now expect to see it on ChaseTV first.

But behind every live stream, video, interview and breaking story is a huge amount of time, effort and personal cost. Hours every day go into filming, editing, responding to messages, travelling across the area and making sure local people stay informed.

There are real costs involved:

• Equipment

• car expenses and travel

• Parking costs and errr fines

• Software and production tools

• Expanding coverage and improving quality

I’ve never really liked asking for help, but ChaseTV has reached the point where community support could genuinely help take it to the next level.

My goal is to:

• Build a proper website so people outside Facebook can access local news

• Improve equipment and coverage

• Bring more people into the project so ChaseTV becomes less about “me” and more about “us”

• Continue delivering fast, independent local coverage for the community

Over the last six months, I hope I’ve shown that ChaseTV is here for local people, every single day.
