Alvin Friel—lovingly known as “Head” or “Poppy” to his grandchildren— has been battling serious health issues since 2019. Over the past year, his journey has grown even more difficult, with multiple hospitalizations and ongoing treatments. Through it all, his wife Druanne has been by his side every step of the way, providing unwavering care and support.

As they face this ongoing health battle together, Alvin and Druanne have also been hit with more unexpected financial challenges—car troubles, urgent home repairs, and other daily needs that continue to grow.
