Not gonna lie, going on a mission trip with a 6 month old feels pretty daunting.

We went back and forth about whether or not Jace and I should attend APC's mission trip to Maine this summer. We ultimately feel that God is calling us to go and will make a way. So, we're going!

Who? Me, Jace, J.C., & other missionaries from our church family at Allentown Presbyterian Church

What? Construction projects. We will work on substandard housing that has affected the lives of so many in this rural area. In the past I have helped build a staircase, repair a roof, build a ramp, & more. This year I'm anticipating my role will look different with Jace in tow, but I know that God will use us to help bring life to this area.

When? July 19-26th.

Where? Farmington, Maine. Send road-trip-with-a-baby tips!

Why? Because I'm trying to follow Jesus in making my life not about me. Because God calls us to help and love and serve others. This summer, that looks like traveling to Maine to help MATE (Mission at The Eastward), the organization who helps organize these construction projects.
