Support the Fourth Annual Transgiving STL
It's time for the Fourth Annual Transgiving STL!!
It is OUR time to come together for connection and community.
Transgiving connects trans folks, families, and allies around a dinner table to enjoy good food and each other’s company.
On Wednesday, November 26th (the day before Thanksgiving), we will get together to cook and decorate St. Mark’s fellowship hall for the big day. If you have been a part of the cooking or decorating crews before, you know how much fun it is.
For the second year in a row, our salads have been pledged to us by NEON GREENS, an amazing seed-to-plate restaurant.
A lot of the food gets prepared the day before, so stop by for friendship and cooking with people you know and love, or meet some new friends. We will be creating sign-up lists for the crews and event sign up for the dinner, but fyi - it is FREE.
On Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 27th, we will open at 10 am for a full day of cooking, eating, music, games, movies, a football room (ha), a video game room, a quiet room, a masks only room, and an open mic.
Our meal starts at 12 pm and we will all gather together at that time to eat. The hall will stay open until 8 pm, long enough to hang out, clean up, and have seconds! We will have packaging for to go, but remember to bring your own to be gentler to the environment.
Calling All: Trans folks, trans families, trans elders, trans children, queer people, and the loved ones that support them... come and be a part of the Third Annual Transgiving STL!
Transgiving is a safe space. Organized by transgender, queer, and allied family members. All money raised goes into our meal and into feeding our community.
