Dear friends, family, and colleagues of the Foster family,

I have known the Foster family for many years and in any conversation or activity we share, their value of faith, family and community is always clear. Between them and their 5 children, there is no shortage of outward love and support given at any time. I have been on the receiving end of their support many times over the years and I am happy to now support them in this exciting and heart warming journey!

After years of assisting foster and adoptive families through coordinating supports and volunteering to bring awareness, Brad and Holly have been led to begin their own adoption journey with a child in another state. The child's guardian is terminally ill and working very hard to find a family for the child to hopefully prevent them needing to enter foster care. This urgency has accelerated the financial pieces in ways they did not expect. In just a short time, costs have risen dramatically, timelines have shortened, and fees are now due far sooner than anticipated.

On top of this, their family van just died unexpectedly—right as they are preparing to travel out of state with their 5 children to meet this child in person and spend some time together.

They are doing everything they can on their own and researching and applying for grants, but time is of the essence and they now need any help they can get to cover the rising adoption expenses and secure a safe, reliable van so they’re ready the moment they get the call that permanency for this child is official.

Any amount, big or small, will make a big difference in helping this little one get home as quickly as possible. All funds raised will go directly toward helping the Foster family secure a new family van, legal fees, home study costs, preparing their home and travel expenses.
