Exciting Announcement!

Hi Everyone! As many of you may or may not know, I am a Pre-Dental student at Drake University, deeply passionate about advocacy, healthcare equity, and serving underserved communities.

Des Moines—like many parts of the U.S.—is facing a serious challenge. Poverty rates are rising, with 15% of the population now living below the poverty line, and the Iowa Finance Authority projects that 17,000 households will face homelessness in 2025.

After seeing firsthand how poverty and lack of access impact oral health in Des Moines, I am launching a new project:

Dental Hygiene Kits ✨

Each kit will include essentials like a toothbrush, fluoride toothpaste, floss, mouthwash, hygiene instructions, and local clinic info—helping individuals and families take control of their oral health, an often overlooked but vital part of overall well-being.
