We are excited to announce a groundbreaking and soul-stirring initiative – the launch of UK Black Pride’s first Black LGBTQ+ Gospel Choir, proudly initiated by House of Rainbow.

This project is more than just music – it’s a celebration of Black LGBTQ+ identity, spirituality, and community. It offers a sacred and affirming space where our voices can rise in praise, protest, and power. Through the spirit of gospel, we aim to uplift hearts, heal wounds, and sing our truth with pride and purpose.

To bring this vision to life, we are reaching out for your support. We urgently need to raise £2,000 to cover:

• Transport for participants to attend rehearsals and performances

• Remuneration for instrumentalists who will support the choir’s live music

• Public liability insurance to ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all involved

This initiative reflects the ongoing commitment of House of Rainbow to create inclusive faith spaces for Black and LGBTQ+ people, and we’re thrilled to partner with UK Black Pride on the 10th August 2025 to showcase this powerful expression of worship and resistance.
