Support the Fight Against Anti-Asian Violence

Over the last year, there has been a rise in Anti-Asian violence around the world. Our beloved family and friends are at risk every day and we must put a stop to it. We must stand together and support one another in such difficult times, not just amongst ourselves but alongside our allies.
We are very excited to announce this fundraiser, which will run from March 19th, 2021 to April 16th, 2021, to raise funds for the grassroots AAPI organizations below. 100% of ALL proceeds will be split evenly amongst:
1) Compassion Oakland
Since the start of the pandemic and with the rise of recent hate crimes, our beloved elderly are not able to comfortably walk outside their homes. Compassion Oakland strives to provide the Oakland Chinatown Community and beyond with a resource for promoting safety and community. They aim to embrace the often forgotten, underserved, and vulnerable.
2) AAPI Women Lead
Women are more than twice likely to be targeted in hate crimes than men. #ImReady Movement aims to strengthen the progressive political and social platforms of Asian and Pacific Islander communities in the US through the leadership of self-identified AAPI women and girls. The goal is to challenge and help end the intersections of violence against and within the AAPI communities working in solidarity with other communities of color.
3) Stop AAPI Hate
The center tracks and responds to incidents of hate, violence, harassment, discrimination, shunning, and child bullying against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in the United States.
Inspired by the fundraising efforts of an amazing group of bakers @stacheofgoods, @ _cakesbymichelle, and @bigcakemom in NYC we were moved to do the same for 3 AAPI grassroots organizations here in the Bay Area. Please take a minute and go their GoFundMe page to learn more about and how to support local NYC AAPI organizations.
Please, lets keep this level of support and fundraising efforts going in all cities for AAPI grassroots organizations to bring awareness and STOP ASIAN HATE.
